The 'its not even close' in the title was a tongue in cheek reference to what a lot of people say in my vs polls and wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Lastly, I'll address a couple of things it seems you have an issue with. I am willing to discuss the Genesis library further as so far you've mentioned only 10-15 games. Neither does it excel in regards to my criteria of quality, quantity and variety. And with your current pick, as per our discussion earlier, being the Genesis.imo the Genesis doesn't excel for any of your three positions lesser known games that are worth playing, games that should've been considered top tier at the time or as you now say highest amount of high quality games that nobody bought.
#Tomba ps1 hide and seek ps2#
In regards to more specificity in the OP, yes it should have been more detailed but I did mention quite early in the thread that there should be quality, quantity and variety and even in the OP I said the PS2 hidden gems library is deeper but the PS1 is more varied so it wins. Now you're saying it should have been 'highest amount of high quality games that nobody bought' a lot more games could be brought forward for the PS1 alongside the others I've mentioned with this criteria. You also said hidden gems can be lesser known games that are worth playing then changed it to games that should've been considered top tier but weren't, then you seemingly backed down from that position. I actually agreed with that first post you quoted but in this thread, to begin with you said Wii had the best hidden gems but then when asked what those games were, you said they were just OK-ish. Tbh man you're all over the place and it's confusing because individually your posts make sense but collectively they don't. I would like to see evidence of that tier of obscure, presumably good, games. You provided one layer of obscure PS1 games and you said there was at least one tier even more obscure, but you did not provide any examples. You claim there are multiple tiers of obscurity on PS1. To me, those are about as obscure as it gets before getting into pretty trash-tier games. To address another point of yours, high price with retro games does NOT mean it's a good game.ġ0 games that you consider to be even MORE obscure than those you posted.
#Tomba ps1 hide and seek full#
I thought it was hyperbolic, because you seemed to imply that there are these hidden tiers FULL of absolute obscure games with PS1.

I intended to mean that the games you listed ARE about as obscure as it gets, while still being actual good games.

My post could've been confusing, as a lot of my posts tend to be.
